As the NBA’s brand ambassador for India, Ranveer Singh brought his signature presence to this campaign — electric, high-energy, and completely at ease on set. He arrived with a boombox on his shoulder, music already playing, setting the tone for what was to come.

The ask was ambitious: transform a basketball court into a stylised NBA world, complete with a brand-led palette, controlled sound, and cinematic lighting. With no scaffolding available, we rigged perimeter trusses to hang lights safely. Green walls were wrapped in bold red, the floors polished to a high shine. To ensure total control, the space was soundproofed, air-conditioned, and protected from weather disruptions with custom-built covers.

Despite the scale, the production ran with focus and rhythm. Ranveer was sharp, collaborative, and generous with the crew — gliding through takes, elevating each frame, and making time for every person on set once the shoot wrapped.

Built in just three days by a crew of nearly 100, the transformation was a feat of tight coordination between agency, art, and production. We even left the space better than we found it — to the absolute delight of the academy we’d borrowed it from. Fast-paced, detail-heavy, and full of heart — this one had all the makings of a classic.
